Mission and Values
Audiosanit

The creation of Audiosanit is driven by a strong commitment to professional excellence in the auditory field. Audiosanit's guiding vision extends beyond considering hearing loss as a simple problem solved by selling an electronic device.

Instead, the fundamental philosophy is to provide comprehensive hearing care, focusing not only on providing technology but also offering complete support to address the auditory needs of each individual.

Rather than limiting itself to the transaction of a product, Audiosanit seeks to establish an ongoing care relationship with its patients. This involves understanding the specific auditory needs of each person, offering customised solutions, and providing constant follow-up to ensure maximum satisfaction and auditory benefit over time. In essence, Audiosanit aspires to be a comprehensive partner in hearing care, where service quality and customer care are as important as the advanced technology provided.

Audiosanit

Services

Comprehensive tests are conducted to assess the hearing ability of patients. These tests include audiometry, impedance tests, speech recognition tests, and other specialised tests to determine the cause and degree of hearing loss.

If hearing loss is detected, hearing aid fitting services are offered. Hearing aids are electronic devices designed to amplify sound and improve hearing ability. As a hearing specialist, I assist patients in selecting the appropriate hearing aid type based on their needs and lifestyle, and I customise it for the best possible hearing experience.

Audiosanit also provides repair and maintenance services for hearing aids. This includes cleaning, battery replacement, adjustments, and necessary repairs to ensure the proper functioning of the devices.

Additionally, we offer technical assistance to maximize your Hearing Aid performance.

Services related to hearing protection are also offered, providing custom earplugs specially designed to protect ears from water, loud noises in workplaces, during recreational activities such as concerts or motor sports.

Continuous counselling and support are provided to patients with hearing loss. This may include guidance on the proper use of hearing aids, communication strategies, hearing care tips, and recommendations to improve quality of life in any kind of environment.

Best Practices Protocol

Customised Method of Adaptation

Consists of a detailed interview with the patient to gather relevant information about their medical and auditory history and any other factors that may influence their hearing ability. The purpose of the anamnesis is to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s auditory situation and provide the basis for appropriate evaluation and treatment.

We observe your ear from the inside before starting tests to ensure everything is in order. For example, checking for obstructions like earwax plugs. It is the simplest test but gives us a clear picture of how your outer ear is, and if any anomalies are detected, we refer you to an Otolaryngologist (ENT) as soon as possible.

It is an auditory test conducted to monitor and detect possible problems in the middle ear that could affect hearing ability. It helps identify issues in the ear, such as the presence of fluid behind the eardrum or blockages. It evaluates the mobility of the eardrum and the middle ear bones.

It is related to the intensity of sounds that a person finds uncomfortable or bothersome and helps customize the settings of hearing aids to ensure that sounds do not exceed the user’s uncomfortable level. This allows for a more comfortable and effective auditory experience.

It is performed to assess a person’s ability to hear sounds through the air. The test is conducted in a soundproof room to minimize external noise interference. Through special headphones, you will hear a series of pure tones at different frequencies and volume levels. Your responses are recorded on a chart called an audiogram, showing your hearing capacity.

Bone conduction audiometry is an auditory test that assesses a person’s ability to hear sounds transmitted through the bones of the skull. Special headphones and a bone vibrator are used. The headphones are placed on your ears as in air conduction audiometry, but a vibrator is also placed behind the ear or on the mastoid bone (just behind the ear) to transmit sounds directly to the skull bones.

Evaluates a person’s ability to understand and repeat spoken words. After hearing each word, you will be asked to repeat what you heard. This allows us to assess the accuracy of your speech understanding. It provides valuable information for designing personalized hearing treatments.

Crucial in hearing aid fitting, it ensures that devices are optimally configured for the unique auditory needs of each individual. The goal is to ensure that hearing aids provide the appropriate amplification at different frequencies to meet the specific auditory needs of the individual. This contributes to a more accurate and comfortable auditory experience.

Audiosanit
Hearing solutions tailored to your specific needs

Audiosanit Ear Anatomy It is important to evaluate the size and shape of the EAC (external ear canal) to determine which type of hearing aid will be most appropriate. Some people may have narrow or curved EACs, which may influence the type of mold or adapter needed.
Audiosanit Tinnitus Tinnitus, or tinnitus, are sounds perceived in the ear without an external source, such as ringing, ringing or buzzing. They are often associated with hearing loss. By understanding the relationship between tinnitus and hearing loss, a hearing aid can be selected that addresses both conditions effectively, providing relief for both hearing and tinnitus. Some hearing aids are designed with specific programs to mitigate the effects of tinnitus. These programs may include masking sounds or sound therapies that help reduce the perception of tinnitus and improve the user's quality of life.
Audiosanit Lifestyle Lifestyle allows us to adapt the choice of device to the individual needs and preferences of the user
Audiosanit Medical History Some medical conditions may contraindicate certain types of hearing aids. For example, certain middle ear problems can affect the effectiveness of conventional hearing aids. Knowing medical history helps avoid selecting devices that might not be appropriate or effective for the patient. It is essential to ensure comprehensive and personalized hearing care, choosing the device and treatment plan according to the specific needs and medical conditions of each patient.
Audiosanit Manual Dexterity and Vision Level The dexterity and degree of vision of the person to handle the hearing aid, since the smaller it is, the more difficult it will be to manipulate it or changing a simple tiny battery can be an impossible mission.
